Where did the elements come from?

There is a physical body in each of us. Years of living has given it the shape in which it is found today. Food, water, and air have been its primary sources of energy. Atomic fission energy from the middle of the earth and magnetic forces from the planetary universe are its spiritual sources.

Go back in time. Imagine how you would have been when you were born. 3 to 5 kilograms, perhaps. About a foot in height. Tiny little fingers, baby eyes, pink cheeks, and a loud voice to cry for milk. We cannot remember our own birth. Our mothers will. From the time we were born till today our bodies grow by digesting the food that we consume. Muscles, tissues, bones, marrow, nerves, brain, and the vital energy all developed from the primary and spiritual sources. For about twenty years or so, society took care of us. Therefore, we have borrowed a lot from the society. For the rest of our lives we ought to settle this loan. Duty is, therefore, the dues that we repay.

Go back in time further. Where were we before we were conceived by our mothers? The child was part of the man and his wife. One cannot technically call the two separate parts as ‘the child’. The ingredients for us existed in them.

Go back in time further. How did our parents exist before they were born? They must have subsisted in their parents, as components.

Go back in time even further. You can go back all the way to the first man who existed. How did he come to exist? Logic tells us that he must have evolved from some animal form. Scientists, in general, have accepted this evolutionary theory.

Go back in time still further. Where did the animals come from? If we keep asking the same question repeatedly, one can come to the conclusion that the first plant that emerged in this planet was our forefather. Every life form in the planet today is our blood relative.

Go back in time further than that. How did the first plant come into being? If you analyze the composition of a life form; from plant to a human being, it is simple to conclude that every form is a combination of five elements; earth, fire, air, water and akash or ether.

Where did these five elements come from?
