Mansilla + Tunon Architects in collaboration with Matilde Peralta has a designed a green convention center in Madrid. The ground breaking ceremony was recently held with high expectations. The structure will 110 meters tall and will comprise around 100,000 square meters worth of built space in addition to green spaces around it.Photovoltaic panels cover the building's exteriors. It is designed also to provide enough sunlight during the day into the floors.

Such iconic buildings will accelerate the adoption of green building techniques across the world. The world needs such landmarks.
