Whirlpool in a bucket

Soap bubbles in a bucket gather in the middle as water is swirled. You must try it. Aditi and Janani, my daughters taught me this as I was struggling to remove bubbles out of bucket while I was washing clothes. It became easy to remove the bubbles out once it got collected in the middle. A mini whirlpool started in my mind.

In any whirlpool lighter particles are thrown away and heavier particles are drawn to the center. Slow moving water can also gather enormous force as was witnessed during Tsunami. We saw videos of this mighty force. A corporation counselor in Bangalore also saw it. But his mind was intrigued by the force generated by slow moving water. He was inspired. Two years later two bulbs were glowing in his house from power generated using his own invention. He managed to build a turbine to work on slow moving sewage canal outside his house. He was recognized for his innovation by National Innovation Foundation. He was a school dropout.

Our mind is like that water in a bucket. It takes the shape of what we believe we are. Bubbles of thoughts get accumulated over time at its surface. We must stir it and get rid of unwanted thoughts and put in new thoughts. We must stir it, constantly. Listening to one's own mind is a simple way of letting it stir by itself. Is anyone listening?
